My Current Research Progress

So far I have done no research for my first article.

That sounded negative. Let me rephrase that in a more positive fashion: So far I have done a lot of the work necessary for the preparations involved with, but not necessarily integral to, the research for my first article. For example, I bought a sandwich.

My article will be about why I, as a young adult, enjoy board games in an increasingly digital age. It will more than likely be a personal article. However, I may interview friends for it too. But I'll do that later.

first magazine-writing-oriented blog

What I want to get out of this magazine writing class is an increased ability to write interesting, thought-provoking pieces. I need to practice more to improve my writing skills, and this class should provide me with the motivation I need to do that.

That concludes the homework assignment portion of this blog. So far this blog doesn't read much like a blog, so, before I conclude, I'll provide something personal that fits this medium better: I am hungry.
